it looks like the sealife is very rich. but is it only one or several deceased birds? never seen that on a beach. is there a particular reason for it?

Hi MlleP! There are two deceased birds pictured – these were the only two we saw on a long (±3km), deserted (of humans – of course there were plenty of birds) stretch of beach. I don’t know what caused their deaths but I don’t think it was anything sinister or ‘malfunctioning’, just the natural cycle of life and death. It was sad to see them so lifeless, but then encouraging to see all the bustle and activity of the many living birds along that stretch of coast. They were certainly finding lots of good things to eat :)
