These slightly scary women, most of them wielding sharp pointy things, appeared on many a street corner in Barcelona. I don’t know exactly what it is that I find so appealing about them but I like them a great deal! Perhaps it’s that they appear to be on an important mission (although what that mission is… I’m not sure?).

Oh, so cool! I really wanted to know who had made them but my lame googling (“women with sharp pointy things” etc.) turned up nothing useful. Thanks so much for the heads-up!

Lovely to have your perspective on Barca! I have not been there … yet! Hope to some time!

Oh my, what gorgeous street art!!! I love Barcelona too. What a feast for the senses it is – especially visually. I’ve only been there once for 4 brief days – about 6 years ago now (where did that time go?) but fell hopelessly in love with it. I was so disappointed recently when a colleague went for the first time and his only comment on his return was – “it smelt”. No beauty in that soul! But you have caught its magic. Beautiful! Thank you :)
